FLL Lance-A-Bot Mania Event
We had an eventful weekend with our FLL Lance-A-Bot Mania Event! Team Lance-A-Bot worked hard on Friday night to set up the entire event, and then arrived at the event bright and early in the morning to enjoy a hearty breakfast and prepare for a great day.
Our FLL Challenge teams competed against each other in various matches, where their Lego robots completed different tasks and attempted to earn the most points against their opponents. It was nerve-wracking and stress-inducing, but each team did a fantastic job! Our Team Ambassadors were assigned to different teams, tasked with getting their teams to their matches on time and being their number one fan on the field. Each Ambassador did a great job!
Our FLL Explore teams did a great job, too! Each team presented in front of a team of judges, and then got to do lots of fun activities! Each team had a chance to scavenge artifacts, build artifacts with Legos, compete to build the tallest spaghetti tower, and color pictures! A big thanks to Lakeshore High School Key Club members, as they volunteered to help us manage the tasks of the day.

As stated in our last update, we’re having a give-back night at Silver Beach Pizza tomorrow! It is from 6 PM to 9 PM.
