It’s kickoff week for our 2025 FRC game REEFSCAPE! Team Lance-A-Bot is super hyped for this year’s game. The team agrees it’s going to be tricky, but they’re all ready to put in everything they got!
The build team has been super busy this week! They’ve been working hard on building the different field aspects such as the barge, the processor, and the reef. Soon, once our build team is finished with that, our A and B team will start building and testing their robots.
The design team has been super busy as well! Unfortunately, our computers have been mainly down and we have not been able to access our files for CAD, but we’ve but working around that by some people working remotely on their computers with the software. They’ve been really busy working on their different designs, but they’re working hard to get them finished so that our build team can start building soon!
Our programming team has been working hard this week. They’ve been working out how we’re going to control and move our robot around. Since this year’s robot is going to be much more different than we’ve ever done before, the programming team has a lot to learn.
Our business team has been getting ready for the season as well! Our friend Samaira helped take our team’s pictures for the website and they look amazing! The team has also been working on revamping the website, sending out newsletters to our sponsors, and making more fundraisers! We have one coming up on December 21st at Silver Beach Pizza! The team would love it if you could join us that day and eat one of the best pizzas in St. Joseph and support Lakeshore Robotics!
